This is your orientation to WirfonCloud Academy. It covers how the platform
works, what to expect as a learner, how to get help when you need it, and
the values that guide our community. You'll need about 30 minutes to
complete this — at the end, you'll know how to navigate the site, find your
courses, post in forums, submit assignments, and reach our support team.

From no security experience to exam-ready, with hands-on practice on your own cloud instance.

Cybersecurity Fundamentals teaches the language, ideas and habits of cybersecurity in plain words, using everyday African examples: mobile money, market kiosks and neighbourhood compounds. Nine modules cover all five domains of the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) exam outline, with artificial intelligence (AI) explained inside each domain rather than bolted on.

What you will do

  • Understand confidentiality, integrity and availability, who may do what, and how to prove it afterwards
  • Assess risk, choose controls, and understand policies, awareness and social engineering
  • Plan for continuity, recovery and incident response
  • Manage identity and access, secure networks and the cloud, and run day-to-day security operations
  • Practise defensive skills safely on your own Ubuntu instance, using fictional data only
  • Build a portfolio project, cybersecurity-fundamentals-labs, and finish with a security assessment of a fictional mobile-money app
  • Prepare for the exam with Exam Readiness checkpoints, a 24-item original mock exam and a 30-day study plan

Who it is for

Beginners and career changers, with no security job and no degree needed. It is also for learners who want a clear path towards entry-level roles such as SOC analyst, IAM analyst, GRC assistant or junior security administrator. Before you start, we recommend completing our Linux, Networking, Python and Git courses. They make the labs much easier to follow and give you the solid foundation you need if you are serious about becoming a cybersecurity engineer.

This is independent exam-aligned training from WirfonCloud Academy. It is not endorsed by ISC2, and no exam pass is guaranteed. All practice questions are original.

Learn Python from absolute zero — and finish organizing real, multi-file projects like a professional developer.

Python Fundamentals is the third course in the WirfonCloud Academy Foundation Series, following Linux Fundamentals and Networking Fundamentals. It assumes no programming experience whatsoever: if you can write a market shopping list, you can learn Python — because Python is simply a way of giving a computer instructions in words that look almost like English.

Built for learners across Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, and Kenya, every concept is explained through examples from the world you already know — mobile money wallets, market vendors, moto-taxis, and the apps you use every day. Every module is hands-on: you will type, run, break, and fix real code in Jupyter Notebook inside VS Code, from your very first session.

No prior coding experience required. A laptop (Windows or Linux) and about 30 minutes of one-time setup is all you need to begin. Bring Your Enthusiasm — WirfonCloud will do the rest.

Master the networking skills every AWS Cloud engineer needs. IP addressing, subnetting, the OSI model, DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls, and TLS — explained with African analogies and practised on your own Linux EC2 instance. 11 modules. Hands-on labs. Direct AWS alignment throughout.

Designed for learners across Africa — Rwanda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, and beyond. All analogies and examples are drawn from contexts you know: MTN MoMo, Kimironko Market, Jumia, mobile money, university labs.

Prerequisite: WirfonCloud Linux Fundamentals.

A 13-module beginner-to-LPI-ready Linux course. From understanding what a computer is, to deploying a live web server on AWS, to writing automation scripts and preparing for the LPI Linux Essentials certification (010-160).

Designed for learners across Africa — Rwanda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, and beyond. All analogies and examples are drawn from contexts you know: MTN MoMo, Kimironko Market, Jumia, mobile money, university labs.

No prior Linux experience required. No programming knowledge needed. If you can use a smartphone, you can learn Linux. We start at absolute zero.
